Slant Fin Company was started in 1949 in a former bakery in Coney Island, New York. Today their main factory and general offices occupy over 250,000 square feet in suburban Long Island. They have additional plants located in Canada. The company now produces products for residential, commercial and institutional heating, which are sold through plumbing and heating wholesalers. Slant Fin also produces portable environmental products for home and office, such as portable electric convection heaters, air purifiers, personal space air coolers, and humidifiers.
